VZW, Standalone, or Google? I can never remember. I always wind up clicking on all 3, which is probably stupid. But God if it hasn't saved my butt a few times, GPS up in my phone.

Standalone is the one that works with the GPS

Actually they all go with navigation
    GPS obviously uses the gps
VZW will give your location based on the network tower rough but better than nothing when inside.
Wireless will give location based on wifi also works inside.
The Google one allows the location for Web searches not nessesary but doesn't hurt. they already know where you are :)
