Consumer Cellular. Switched last year after being with AT&T since the 1990s. It's saved me a bundle of money! :D

China Unicom has been my carrier for five years, and before that China Mobile, and before that Vodafone, and before that T-Mobile, and before that Three, and before that I used two cans and a taut length of string.

I could use Google Fi if I wanted, but rather expensive though.

There's a few vendors selling Google Fi SIMs with activation on Taobao, basically as way for users to bypass the Chinese GFW internet censoring, if they're willing to pay the price.

The wonders of grey market/black market telecoms. :thumbsupdroid:

    Do they sell it worldwide?

"Normally" you should use it only in the us but many are using it for 1 Year abroad.

Im with Sprint. I signed up way back with the five phone line "Family Plan". They used to offer a new phone discount when resigning every two years.

Taobao sales are China only, unless you can use a proxy.

We might laugh now, but this is how it was before the advent of mobile operators, like Google Fi.

BTW for any millennials reading this, the above diagram shows how phones worked before the advent of Android smart-phones.

Fi is a lifesaver for people who dont want to spend money for sim cards

Yeh but a Google Fi SIM about $100 USD up front fee, plus whatever their monthly subscription and data plan charges might be. That's a lot of money to spend on a SIM.

Why is it a "lifesaver for people"?

I assume you're in the US. then yeh from what I've read Fi is much cheaper than Verizon(Big Red) or whatever.

Verizon hands down best nation wide coverage in the United States. Most drivers use either Verizon or AT&T

Sprint but I need to get unlocked again. I miss the testing chances with the unlocked format.
