How does your battery do with that clock speed?

What's the difference between the custom rom and samfirmware leaked gingerbread? i'd like to see a video of the custom rom in progress or something to warrant it's worthiness other than an over clock.

The mini isn't a slow phone to start with so although an overclock would be nice, that alone isn't enough for a custom rom in my opinion

Well. In CyanogenMOD you can practicly change everything. The lockscreen, status bar, change themes, overclock your device without no other software like SetCPU and etc. :) It's worth to have a custom ROM. It let's you use all the functions of your phone that a stock firmware can't offer :p
