I'm looking at either the HTC Incredible 2 or Droid X2 but I'm not sure which one to get. I'm not looking at 4g because I don't want to spend more than 200 on a phone being as this is my first smartphone. The Droid X2 is slightly in the lead because it does have a dual-core processor, but I'm looking for some user input. Thanks.

Im using Verizon just as a heads up.

I don't own any but had an Incredible 1...I'd say it comes down to preference of size. The Droid X is a bit larger than t he incredible. If you like the look of HTC sense more also that could to be a factor. The Incred 2 may be single core but since its a 2nd gen snapdragon it runs almost if not as fast as the newer dual cores from what I've heard, hope that helps.

I am a happy Droid Incredible user. However, I don't think the OP would fail on either the Incredible 2 or the X2. Both are quality devices.

If I were to make a choice, given these, i would pick the X2 for the dual core, the larger 4.3" screen, the sharper display, and I kind of like the X2 body more, although the Incredible 2 is also splendidly build.

I wouldn't totally rule out 4g. With my 4g phone on Verizon I get download speeds of 800+ kbps on 3g and 25,000 to 30,000 k on 4g.

With 4g, other than the extra 50 dollars for the phone, would I pay more?

So after some research it's between the incredible 2 and the thunderbolt. My only hesitation is the bad battery on the thunderbolt. Is the 5 hour life of the battery worth the 4g.
