It's a toss up between "Almost Human" or "God of Thunder" both by KISS

I'll be playing that song all day on 12.21.12.

It's a kids song. I think it's called "I've Got A Butt". If not that, then "Closer" would be stellar.
Then people could have fun. I'll be dead, so why shouldn't they have a kick.

This is a good subject (in a sense).

For my funeral I want Iron Maiden - Die with your boots on.

I just hope that they have me wearing boots in my coffin and not slippers or flip flops haha

I'm still undecided and torn between two songs so far...

Elton John - Funeral for a Friend
    or
    Funkadelic - Maggot Brain

  11. When I was in high school my friend's remedial English class did a mock funeral. Her teacher asked me if I would be the recently deceased (I went to the class more often than not because I had nothing better to do that period). Knowing I was (am) a huge Beatles fan they decided to play Strawberry Fields and The End. It was a great choice and I would like that again.

Not sure about me, but an old friend went out to Sinatra's "I did it my way." Perfectly fitting for him, as he took absolutely no crap and broke the rules when they made no sense.

Edit: hey, my 666th post!

    What a fitting place:D

    Something from Korn...
But seriouslly I would choose Temporary Home or something corny along those line

But at the end of the day, I am Buddhist by default (most Japanese are) so it would sound like this.

100 Bottles of Beer on the Wall.

That should be good payback for all the wretched hymns that I've had to sit through at weddings and funerals.

Maybe "In the Garden of Eden" by I. Ron Butterfly. :saint: :D

"Do not stand at my grave and weep".
Voted #1 poem in the world a while back.
Now a song by many, many, artists.

The best version appears in an episode of "Third Watch" (the song was named Prayer, sung by Lizzie West on that episode).

Google the meaning of this song. It'll make you cry and smile at the same time.
