I've been looking at some Android phones now and have been specifically looking at the Fascinate or Continuum. One feature I definitely want in my phone is the ability to edit or create documents (mostly word style docs). I keep reading that these two phones have Thinkfree but can't tell if it is the full version or read-only version.

does anyone know if these phones have the full version?

Also, does anyone know which other phones on verizon include the ability to create new documents?

    Thanks

There are apps for that (free and paid). Not sure if anything comes out of the box with the proper apps though.

Yes, all android phones have apps to do that. QuickOffice and Documents To Go are two that I would recommend.
