it seems as though there are 2 different ways to root.

I was reading one that said i can just go to a website from my browser and it will root my phone, but it doesn't stick.
and then there was toasts way.

I want to still be able to use my cameras. i want to be able to use wi-fi tether. i want to be able to remove sprints garbage from my phone.

which way allows me to do all of these?

will toasts method allow me to use wireless tether?

i was reading the "root is out!" thread and someone asked if both camera's were still working and no one responded. I actually use both cameras and want to make sure they will both still work.

I was also reading that there wasn't a way to remove bloatware. is that true?

Yes, just Root. But you cant delete or modify the system files.

So basically, the ONLY advantage to unrevoked, is that it grants wifi tether, correct ? Any other advantage ?

Thanks all, trying to choose a path here :)

EDIT: Also, IF I install unrevoked, can I "uninstall" it, just like any other app on the phone ?

Thanks again everyone for your help

#1.No, both methods allow use of wif tether.
#2.Yes you can uninstall unrevoked just like you would any other apk.
