    Hello there,

recently I have changed my wallpaper to a white one and all the icons on home screen had their text colour changed to white with black shadow... Not only the icons, but also the Time/Weather widget turned to white.

What can I do to have them black without using any personalised launcher?

Your help is highly appreciated, Thanks!

Start by telling us what phone you have. Otherwise we don't know what the default launcher is and hence don't know what options that phone has.

That's not that bad. I can read it.
    Let me check my notes...
    Personally I like the white.

I am sorry, I inserted my phone during registration so I thought it would show automatically...

By the way I am using a Huawei P20 Pro with emui 8.1.0

I don't have a Huawei, so can't say myself what options it has. Hopefully someone else will be able to.

I use third party launchers on all of my devices anyway (simpler because I can use the same launcher on them all, and more flexible than any stock launcher)..

I've got a Huawei Mate 10 with EMUI 8.1(Oreo 8.1) . Using the stock launcher things seem to be working correctly here, like it goes black when using a light coloured wallpaper. I presume you're using the stock launcher on your P20 Pro. Maybe it's a bug, that Huawei needs to fix with an update for that phone? Have you tried rebooting the phone? Are you using a custom theme/skin?

    Hello, thanks for replying.

I am using the stock launcher without any custom theme, most of the phone settings are "default" so at this point I assume this is a bug.
