pdanet and easytether works on 2.2 but with 4G, speeds seems to be capped at 3Mb/s

So just to be 100% clear, if I update to 2.2, I will be able to use easy tether or any other usb internet sharing service? has anyone tried this?

    cool nvm lol :)

  8. let me rephrase.....

    pdanet does work on 2.2

i was referring to the free internet sharing that was on 2.1 when htc sync was installed. it irks me that they removed the wired shared internet feature.

i don't know if it's a sprint network thing or something on my end, but everything seems uber slow tonight when i tethered with pda net.

    off to try easytether

Thats the problem though the usb tether stuff just won't work with the ipad. Which is pretty much all we use the wifi hotspot for.

yeahI am in the same boat as well. but with it not being released fora bit they have longer to root it before the official one comes out.

  12. speeds are way down on pdanet and froyo vs. 2.1 and intenet sharing

this is my speed with pdanet

i was pulling twice these numbers both up and down on 2.1

is there any way to go back? gf is still on 2.1. i think for the short term, i'm going to tell her to stay
