Who has played with the "Developer Options" in the settings?

Soooo...who all has gone into the "Developer Options" under Menu-Settings-System? Anything in there worth checking or unchecking for a non-technical type like me? Any tips for things we should check in those settings?

Caloy posted a great link. That's the most many of us have done in the developer settings.
Unless you are a developer I suggest researching before tinkering with anything else in there.

I've gone through it. Only used it mainly for USB debugging to sync/backup my data via MyPhoneExplorer. I've tried other settings more out of curiosity than anything else. But only for a very short bit.

What exactly do those animation settings do..?
I turned all those off phone is faster but I "see" no difference

It's subtle. For transition, when you open an app, the animation will show it enlarging on the screen. With that off, it just 'pops' full screen without any animation to it. It just appears.
