Swype IS great. it is fast and relitively accurate. i have had it since an early beta and with every new install you ahve to re-tteach it how you type. you have to teach it words that you use (like bad language or slang) i use it mostly for quick responses but for email or long im convo i prefer teh keyboard. and with big fingers, i have the same problem with swype that i have witht he on screen keyboard... it misreads alot. even in landscape...

Yeah I saw that most of the newer phones are coming with it preinstalled. It's a great program.

It looks almost perfect, if only it didn't have Touchwiz. If the $10 fee applies to this too then nevermind, its not worth it.

I need more info on the Samsung Intercept.

I will probably get the EVO instead of the epic when I'm due for my upgrade in January. I don't have much faith in samsung since I have not been too pleased with what samsung did with the moment.

Was seriously thinking about, but then the 3.0 rumors started 'leaking' out and true or not, they made me think.....it'd be better to wait. This phone is working perfectly for me, just rooted it, so there is still a possibility of 2.2 on it. It;d be better to make a big step up and hopefully by time 3.0 comes out, maybe things will be starting to slow down a bit and phones will last longer than 6 months. :p

    ditto

And swype isn't the end all be all to smartphone input. I hit nearly 60 WPM on the moment keyboard, try that with swype.
