How does it run. Smoother? Better battery life? Any problems? Thanks.

I did not think that was possible yet.

There are some "ports" of 2.2 to the Evo but lots of the hardware unique to the Evo (camera, 4g, etc) is not working yet. This is mainly an experimental thing at this point. I wouldn't install it on a daily driver.

It's WAY more than experimental at this point, it's a very fast android, and is almost complete.

4G works now along with most other things, some options are missing, including the camera which would be the average users biggest gripe.

I'm using it, pretty much everything except the camera is working (which is no biggie, except I can't use my precious QR codes! :(

It says "Roaming Indicator is On" on the lock screentoo, not really sure why...

If you don't mind missing the camera, I recommend it. Its extremely nice.

To fix roaming, push this file to /data/eri.xml : http://xda.privatepaste.com/download/e5edc55588
(Hint: you already have write access to /data from Android, no need to go to recovery to do it. but you *might* need to reboot after replacing it..

Hey, if you're running 2.2, can you check and see if you can get a bluetooth keyboard working with it?
