im trying to push a custom recovery for a phone that is not the ally
i cant seem to push it completely through via terminal emulator
has a few line issues or maybe there is a file missing
    when i reach
    "
    rm /system/etc/install-recovery.sh

it shows that there is no suchfile or directory

now is that something that should be included in the img or something i need myself

I believe thats a file that removes the custom recovery. On the ally at least. If its not there, no need to remove "rm" it

Easiest way to flash a recovery with cli is using the bootloader or flash_image, you can find flash_image around on the net, put it, and the recovery on your sdcard, then
    Code (Text):
    1. su
    2. chmod 777 /sdcard/flash_image
    3. /sdcard/flash_image recovery /sdcard/recovery.img
    4. sync
    5. reboot recovery

flash_image is just a binary, it should work on any phone

    The recovery.img is phone specific
