not me! i h8 motorola!
Can guarantee you that it won't.
The 2.1 upgrade for the Cliq and Cliq XT aren't compatible with MotoBlur, that's been the holdup for the last two months, and at this point will continue to be the holdup until the MotoBlur 1.5 prototype is released.
Look for it the last week of July in test markets, and the 2nd week of August nationwide. Until then, "enjoy" Android 1.5 a bit longer.
Definitely sounds plausible, but any sources on that?
None written, and it's highly subject to change as well. But that's straight out of the mouth of a tech representative (who'd know, as it's his/her department) at one of the stores yesterday afternoon.
Because of compatibility issues with Motoblur, I hope that means our extra wait time = Froyo 2.2. Might as well upgrade us to the latest since we've waited so long ya know?
wow! i really dont want to believe what u said but i unfortunately think you are right;(
What about the Motorola Charm? Tons of leaks from TMobile and Moto running 2.1 with Motoblur.

Moto must stands for
at this rate gingerbread 3.0 will be out before we ever get updated....
Im sure I will have a new device by the 3.0 launch in October...
My phone is sitting on my desk right now, and I heard a quick vibrate and noticed the screen booting up... alas, it was just a random reboot, and the first time it's ever happened.
Le sigh, got me all excited n' shit...
Might not come until August according to this T-mobile roadmap.

And like a charm, the MotoCharm is delayed! Care to guess why?
....and just think, who'dve seen THAT coming.
The update has been delayed for so long that I've been over the hype. The proposed August release means I'll probably be back in school already, which means I'll be too busy to enjoy 2.1 by that time anyway.
Motorola, I am disappoint.
