who will my phone work wtih

[Android Question]

I have a Motorola Droid2 Global, android version 2.3.4. I am on Verizon but need to switch carriers. I am in a somewhat remote area so I will have to check for coverage but I first need to find out which carriers will support my phone and number. Further, data is just as important to me as phone if not more important.
