Recently I added a new SD card into my Moto G2, and I want to transfer over my apps from my internal storage to the SD card. I formatted the SD Card as internal storage, and I go to the "Storage and USB" -> Apps, but it gives me no option to transfer them over so???? I checked online and there should be a storage 'transfer to sd card' or something option, but it just simply isn't there. These are the relevant screen shots if they help.

If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated as my phone doesn't have that much storage to begin with (around 5GB), so I really need to transfer stuff over to the SD card.

Move app to SD card feature has been removed from Android since 4.0 years ago. Some manufacturers like Samsung and LG tweak Android to their design to allow it. But in general, Android doesn't have that feature anymore. Motorola is using nearly stock unmodified Android, hence this lack or such option seems normal for it.

Marshmallow has a feature to format SD card as extension of the internal memory. I think you should look into that if you want to use the SD card memory for apps. Be warned that your phone may become slower, and a sudden failure of the card may cause loss of data.
