Help Why can't i use my camera after battery level indicator drops to yellow

Last night i was very eager to rub my new phone in the face of my iphone loving friends but was extremely disappointed to find out i couldn't use the camera because the battery level indicator had dropped to yellow; can somebody please tell me there is a way to disable this feature so i dont have to listen to my friends say "i guess Droid doesn't" once again arghh!

Do you have a power saving program on your phone? On the bolt its settings> power>power saving settings. Now the bolt does not have a camera disable when battery gets to yellow. But this is where I would look and see if the dc has that option if it has a power saving program.

I've also found that below 10%, the screen goes to the darkest brightness setting and this cannot be changed until it is charged past 10%. They seem to like to tell you what to do with the power you have left.

I had this same issue last night. I didn't see any settings which would enable the camera to work. Very frustrating.
