So I am currently running CM7 7.0.3.1 on my Evo. I decided to update to the 7.1 RC1, so I did a nandroid backup then flashed it. It worked perfect, but when I went to flash the Mattedblues theme, I got bootloops, so I restored back to my 7.0.3.1 backup. Now when I look at my home screens all I see is this. Those were all my apps that were missing on my SD card. They are apps with official install to SD card support.

When I go to manage applications, then SD card, I see this. They are there but will not let me move them back to the phone or anything.

Why is it doing this? How can I fix it?

I don't really have a fix for you. but this seems to be a very common thing to happen to apps moved to the sd card via the official android way. I think this is also one of 2 or 3 threads on the front page of this rooting section with this issue.

I think your only issue is to wipe android.secure and redownload all those apps...

this also seems to happen to unrooted phones.

    +1 Need to know this

Initial thought is android.secure was not backed up...this is where apps go when moved to sd card (part of them anyhow) using built in method, you have to back it up if you want them to come back.

You'll need to reinstall them, sorry.
