sell for more on ebay than the google store?
google's store doesn't sell to all countries, so they're forced to buy it from a 3rd party on ebay
That sucks for them.. Its a shame they have to pay more.. at least they get one I suppose..
Also take into consideration that countries outside of the US have to pay tax/tariff on it. I ordered mine from the Google store, got it shipped to Canada, so had to pay an adddional $80 on top of the $30 shipping...plus I had to take the exchanage rate into consideration. So around $670 CAD...which is comparable to what the vedors on Ebay are asking.
From what I understand, most folks in the US get stung for sales tax as well.
i paid like 30 dollars sales tax when i ordered it from google.
I dunno how much I'd have to pay on it to be honest.. From newegg I pay 0 tax
But, I dunno how they are handling it here.
yeah I`m in michigan when I bought my N1 I had to pay like 32.00 taxes
really?? When i got mine shipped to Canada it came to just under $600 total!
You must be from Alberta and bought the phone when it was @ parity
Ontario actually!! but yes, it was around par when i bought it
The math doesn't add up! $530+30+80 = 640 with parity ...you should have gotten the same tax/tariff as I did
Mine was $564 after taxes. FedEx overnight shipping was free.
How did you get the phone to be shipped by FedEX? DHL shipped mine...maybe it's an international thing :/
I'm in the USA. It was FedEx overnight (for free). That's just what they had on the site when I ordered it: Nexus One Phone - Web meets phone.
OK...so DHL is used for international shipping, since there was no shipment option when I purchased my phone, it was just DHL.
