Why does wifi knockout 3G?

    Disable wifi and I get 3G back?!

    both are ways to send/receive data.

    if no WiFi is available, your 3G data connection will be active. when your phone connects to WiFi, it shuts off 3G because WiFi is (usually) faster and free (depending on the WiFi provider).

    Would be a bit daft to stay on 3G if you are on WIFI :p
