Why don't we have a full function office in ROM

We now have a 4G ROM tablet, so why don't we have something like libre office, at most it would take up 750 meg. After all, I suspect the quad core tablet comming out in August will be A15, with java in the microarchitecture, it would fly. My HP Jornada in 2002 at $400, had more office functionallity, than my Samsung Galaxy S Android 2.1, at outright purchase price of $850 in 2010. Stu in Oz.
