Help WHY is every video I send to email BLANK???

I have an Android X through Verizon. My girlfriend lives in Ohio, and I live in Myrtle Beach, so I try to send and receive videos to her through GMAIL. Her account is a yahoo account. Every time I send a video, to either myself, OR her, the email is blank. NO VIDEO... Anyone know why?

The only thing I can think of is that perhaps the videos are too big--is there a size limit on either e-mail account? Are you sure you're under that limit? If that's not it...sorry, I have no idea.

Sure you're actually sending the videos, and not just shortcuts?
