It is always like four guns, normally a shotgun, a handgun, a .22 rifle and some sort of deer rifle. With about 500 rounds TOTAL of ammo most of it being .22lr which is like $2 for 50 rounds.

Then I think of my back room, 20 guns total, 10 handguns, 10 rifles. About 500 rounds of ammo PER gun, total of about 10,000 rounds.

The news media would go freaking nuts if I were crazy and got busted for something.

Sorry, just a random thought I had while watching the news.

The media loves to try to convince people that guns are bad and they will take any chance they get to make guns sound as horrible as possible.

Because that is what sells. More than one gun becomes a 'cache of weapons.' If you are on a farm, it becomes a compound. If they find a bible, you are a gun toting, bible thumping right wing tea party member that must be stopped at all costs.

Hope you do not reload, then they will add "a significant amount of explosives" to your constitutionally guaranteed list of crimes and take away your right to live on a compound surrounded with ammunition and explosives.

Here is hoping you do not have two wives or a following, then you will become a lawless Mormon cultist and Reno will come and get you.

Dang-it I reload shotgun shells for Skeet shooting. So now I have explosives also. I don't own a bible or believe in marriage, so I am safe there.

"Location: TEXAS" ... that sounds about right.

Now if you where in the United Kingdom. The media certainly would have a field day, and so would the police.

Different views, opinions and laws about guns and ammunition, depending on location and country.

My neighbour has an automatic assault rifle along with ammo, a Chinese 'Kalashnikov', we live in an apartment block. Probably illegal as well, everyone knows he has it, but they don't care.

If you lived in Kansas you would be considered an average dude. We like our guns here and allow open carry with a permit. We are extremely Conservative and believe in our constitutional rights such as to keep and bear arms.

As the SEALs say, two is one and one is none.

I wish I had more guns! Sadly I just have an AR15 and a P226, but I'm fairly content with those two for the time being.

Didnt AZ also pass a law that legalizes automatic knives or at least try to?

I didnt know we had a law on the books that banned them, lol. As far as I've ever heard the only law re knives was if the blade was equal or longer than 4 inches it couldnt be concealed. I've been carrying a benchmade auto opener for 4 years now. Of course with my ccw permit conceal carrying anything hasnt really been a concern for me.

Seems I read something about automatics being made legal in AX which implies that fully automatic knives wree previously illegal. Just wondering how AZ gets around the federal ban of fully automatic knives. Like a vintage Italian Stiletto.

In other words, a "law" that is not truly needed, given the second amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

But, better this than laws going the other way. ;)

In April, Arizona passed laws eliminating the permit requirement for concealed carry, and statewide preemption of knife regulation. Thus, Arizona no longer requires a permit to carry concealed weapons, including knives. In addition, the state's new knife preemption law prohibits local governments from regulating knives to any extent greater than state law. Any such existing regulations and local ordinances become null and void upon the effect date of this new law.

The new law takes effect on July 29, 2010.
