the tablet part isn't android's fault as an OS. Most of the manufacturer's made them using cheap instead of premium materials. Hell, even the BB Playbook used more solid construction materials, and it flopped horribly. Except that wasn't because of Hardware. If you want to make a big first splash you don't launch with a good OS+ecosystem on a flimsy plasticy piece of junk, nor do you lauch a well built machine with a crappy ecosystem.
