Why is my DX Different?

    so I see all these pictures of other peoples DX's and the unlock slide icon and little speaker icon are green.....

    mine are white.. what gives?

    A lot of people here install custom roms and custom themes so they like to show off what their X looks like.

    IIRC, mine were green until the update to Adroid 2.2, and now they are white. But you should consider that it's been a while since I updated, and my memory sucks.

    you probably have this

    that is stock droid x lock screen

    usually custom ROMs have AOSP lock screen (stock android) which looks like this:

    you can install a custom ROM to get this screen, or install widgetlocker from the market ($2 but totatlly worth it) to get the sliders above

    Widget locker also let's you change them to a few different styles, some people even use ninjamorph to change the icons to what ever they want

    I installed NoLock. Wow. I was using widgetlocker, but alas, I am no more. Thank you Mr. Wulff.
