Support Why is security network key popping up on my phone when i try to use my hotspot to connect to laptop

    Because your hotspot has a password. Its in the hotspot settings.

    Try "12345678" that's the default hotspot password on many devices. :) I strongly recommend you change it, otherwise someone else might be using your data. In a busy airport terminal or something, might be a lot of people looking around for WiFi they can use. :thumbsupdroid:
