Why is the writing on lock screen all over the place?

Actually face and fingerprint recognition work just fine, but when I use wrong biometrics the message is displayed in a weird way.

As the formatting is messed up. Are you using a custom ROM and/or a third-party lock-screen on your phone or tablet, or have a third-party custom font installed?

No I am not using any of these

The text in your lock screen does appear to be messed up. It almost seems as if there's a non-visible image in the upper right side that's 'squishing' the type so it's not formatted properly. Since you referred to this problem as being an ongoing one, was it previously OK at one time? Can you recall any change you might have made or some update/upgrade that was applied right before this odd lock screen became obvious?
Have you already tried going into your Settings menu and looked into all the options in the Security/Lock screen menu? There could also be something buried in the Notifications menu since there might be options related to what personal info you can set to show in the lock screen. (Don't forget to delve into any contextual sub-menus and such that might be accessible in a menu's gear/hamburger/three-dot icon).

I actually tried going through the settings and everything was perfectly fine.
What I noticed is that the formatting is messed up sometimes but then goes back to normal some other times even though nothing in the settings has changed.

Samsung Galaxy M51. It was normal after the last update but then it became that way after quite some time.

Well if it is still happening, you can either learn to live with it...or .. You can do a factory reset. I really do not see any other solution for you.
