Help Wi-Fi toggle widget acting strange...

Just recently I've been noticing my Wi-Fi toggle widget acting up. It seems like it doesn't want to turn on my wi-fi for some reason. I've tried both stock wi-fi widgets and when I press them I see the green switch flip, but no wi-fi goes on. Only when I go into Menu -> Settings -> Wireless & Networks -> Wi-Fi Settings do I see "out of range" suddenly disappear and then I'm connected. My wi-fi won't turn on unless I actually watch it do so. Has this happened to anyone else?

It's happened to me and I think one or two other people who posted in a thread I made a few days back about the same thing. It works one time, usually after a reboot, and then you have to go in to the wireless settings for it to enable a network. I tired it at my in-laws and I get the same thing happening. There's some sort of bug with the wifi software it seems to where it doesnt want to connect to a network after already connecting at one point, until you reboot the phone.

Same here. The free app "WiFi OnOff" by CurveFish fixed the issue for me.

Thanks, I just downloaded it and I'm going to try it out now. If it works, I may just download the whole set.
