My wife is the one with the Inspire, so I don't know a whole lot about it. I had a different Android phone.

Anyway, the wi-fi on her phone keeps getting turned off, and neither of us has any idea why. Often when I look at it for something when we're at home and it should be connected to our wireless network, it isn't. When I go into wireless settings it's not that it just isnt' connected to our wi-fi, it's that wi-fi is turned off all together. I havne't put any ap on her phone that's not on mine, and I'm pretty sure she hasn't installed anything else, so I'm not sure what could be causing this. Any ideas?

Do you have the juice defender app on the phone? That might be turning it off

I do, but I've also got it on my phone and never seen this. The times I've seen it on her phone the battery had a good charge.

I had my phone randomly turn off my wifi a couple times for no reason so i uninstalled juice defender since that was the only thing I had that was set to turn off wifi and haven't had it happen since.

I rather like juice defender. It saves me money on my data plan. I just check in settings for juice defender to leave my wifi alone completely. If wifi is on, it is because I want it on. Also, make sure you turn off mobile data when you use wifi.

I use JuiceDefender on my Samsung phone and have never had a problem with it shutting things down. I'm not totally convinced that's my wife's issue yet.

I took a closer look at her phone, and it has a "power saver" ap that came with it that turns a bunch a stuff, including wi-fi, off at 15% power. I tend to think that's what's doing it rather than JD.

Yeah the power saver that is built in can be doing it is it when he battery is low that it's turning off? I have the power saver turned off and was using JD so for me that was the only culprit for turning my wifi off.

I have Juice Defender on y inspire as well, and it does not do this. Also, the power saver only turns it off if it reaches the battery usage % limit specified.
