Help Widget HTC calendar + facebook

I recently got a wildfire S. I am enjoying it very much. One thing does frustrate me quite a bit: I am trying to get rid of facebook events from calendar but with no success. Could you help me out, please? I do not want to have facebook sync with calendar!!

Tap the calendar widget to go in to the calendar full. Hit the menu button and select More. Then select Calendars. You'll then see a list of available calendars. Check/Un-check the calendars you want.
