Hey all, quick question: I've just downloaded Widgetlocker and I love it. I installed a new theme, and I love the slider. My problem comes from the fact that for some reason, the bottom half of my screen is greyed over, where the original tabs were, when I first installed the app. Is there any way of getting rid of this annoying greyness?

Oh, and I'm rooted, but for some reason, whenever I attempt to turn on Root Helper, it says that it was denied... any way round this?

I think what you're talking about is the anchor. Basically, Widget Locker can function in either portrait or landscape mode, however sliders or widgets that are in the "anchor" (greyed out part) never rotate and stay locked in portrait mode.

To change it, go to Settings>Look and Feel>Layout and drag your screen down until the Main Grid takes up the whole screen. Then you can also change the number of rows and columns on the screen, like in Launcher Pro and ADW Launcher.

Btw, just learned all this the other day because I also just got Widget Locker and re-themed it. Good Luck man! :)

Any way to get rid of the annoying Widget Lock icon in the top bar? Can't seem to locate it in the settings.

How about a way to have Widget Locker auto rotate if auto rotate is on?

The only thing I see are WL>Look & Feel>Screen Orientation>System Default, Force Portrait, Force Landscape, or Sensor.

The problem is System Default doesn't rotate the lock screen is Auto-rotate is on. FP and FL are obvious. And Sensor only rotates the lockscreen.

The problem is, I only want the lock screen to rotate when auto-rotate is on. My reason behind this: I have a car mount for my phone and I am using Tasker to turn on auto-rotate when my phone connects to my car bluetooth.

My goal is to have WL auto-rotate only when the OS have auto-rotate enabled.

    Any ideas on this?

I would suggest creating a profile that puts the phone in landscape while the phone is in the car dock

You mean a tasker profile? I have Tasker set to enable auto-rotate which works on everything except the lockscreen which WL is controlling. IMO, "System Default" should set WL to whatever the OS is set to. If auto-rotate is on, then WL should auto-rotate as well
