Help Widgets Freezing (clock and battery)

I was wondering if anyone else is having the same problem.

Every clock and battery app I have download, all the widgets freeze. I've tried beautiful widgets (the clock, battery and toggle widgets freeze), minimal text and battery circle.

All the sense widgets work, but it seems like the other widgets don't auto refresh.

Do you think it's a ICS problems or a sense problem?

I've noticed the Gmail widget won't refresh, but I have the same issue on my tab.

Everything else seems fine (that being said, the only non HTC Widget I have installed is Shazzam). I'll stick some more on and monitor tonight though.

Same problem here. I can't get a third party clock or battery widget to work. HTC support is useless as well -- they suggest clearing the app data, soft resetting the device and failing both, hard resetting.

I think the problem has something to do with the HTC Fast boot option in the power settings. I unchecked the option yesterday and my widgets haven't stopped now for almost 24 hours.

I was having problems with weather/news widgets not updating so i tried apex launcher and all the widgets now work fine so it has to be a sense issue.
