Help Widgets not loading on reboot

I recently rooted and installed Serendipity 7. I've been running it for about a month without any problems until today. I updated a number of apps last night. Some of them I had to update twice to get it to "take."

This morning all of my widgets were blank and said "problem loading widget." This is happening on QuickDesk and GoLauncher Ex. I found that the widgets can be deleted and replaced. But, every time I reboot the phone all my widgets fail to load, and I have to replace them all over again. Only one of the apps that was updated has widgets on homescreens (folder organizer ii).

I've found other instances of this happening across various handsets and ROMs (stock and custom). The only fix I've been able to find is move all apps to phone storage. However, I have never installed anything to SD, so this has to be something else (memory allocation maybe?).

Any help would be appreciated.

The only widget problem I have on Serendipity VII is Widgetlocker, I lose all the widgets every time I reboot, so I've stopped using it for now. Supposedly 2.3.4 doesn't have the problem, but Mikey hasn't released an update yet - there's also a solution offered by Kevin, the WL developer, but again, Mikey hasn't added it in yet.

I use Desktop Visualizer widgets for my icons, and they all load every boot. Have you tried doing a clear of the davlick cache? I have no idea if that will help, but it doesn't hurt to do so every once in awhile. It will take quite a long time to boot after you do it.

I have same... Running Go Launcher EX v 2.87, Vibrant, OS 2.1.1. Use many different widgets and they ALL go blank after restart, maybe 30% of the time.

Does anyone know of an app to batch-copy or back all running widgets up and/or restore them to their original screens, so I don't have to keep reinventing the wheel each time this happens?

I use Go Launcher's backup a lot, but have never tried its restore... If I do, can I elect to just restore the widgets?
