Help Widgets Not Updating?

I have these widgets on my screens:

Weather
News
Friend Stream

All are set to update every hour, how ever the only one that updates every hour is the weather widget.

Does anyone know of a fix for this?

Hate having to do manual update all the time, seems to defeat the whole purpose.

Not using any task killers or anything like that btw.

I found this with mine too but I am using different widgets now anyway.
