Widgets or apps that use battery power

ANYTHING that is running on your phone uses battery power. The BIG discussion about "Task killer" apps has not been "freeing memory" its been battery usage. ANY process that runs, uses battery (how little is insignificant, its a process, therefore, it uses battery power) And yes, EVEN apps running in the background do use some battery). Unfortunately, killing some apps only makes them start over again, using even more battery power.

If the phone is in standby state, gadgets wont use up much power. But they will consume more if you set them to sync every certain period, like friendstream or weather.

My phone drains 0.75% per hour when not in use, with all connections off except gsm.

Is it necessary to have the data apps constantly running in order to keep data acurate at month end? Im wondering if these apps should always be green checked 'on' on my TaskKiller app

Like:
3G Watchdog
NetCounter
Stats
Call Meter NG
Phonalyzr

I know I have a couple that are overlapping functions but right now im trying a few to see which one is more accurate. The less get uninstalled
