Long-press a blank area of the homescreen. A menu will come up. Choose Widgets. It's in there (in alphabetical order) Press that widget and it should appear on the homescreen. Then you can long-press the widget to move it if you want.

(If "long-press" isn't an Apple term [I wouldn't know], it means press until something happens, not just a tap.)
