Wifi Calling

Hi all,
I wanted to ask if samsung s7 comes with wifi calling. I went to settings-> connections, and did not see this option. I also searched for 'wifi calling' and got no results. Do you know if this option is even available on my device. Talked with samsung rep on the phone and they told me to call my cell carrier. I am now confused, I thought this would be a hardware feature, not dependant on my carrier.
Any advice is appreciated.

Yeh, WiFi calling is very dependant on your carrier. And AFAIK you need to have a phone that was supplied by your carrier, or is at least approved by them. Where I am the carriers don't provide WiFi calling, and so no phones have this option.

Suggest you call your carrier for more information.

Yes it's a hardware feature but your phone already includes support for phone calling and for WiFi connectivity. The actual WiFi Calling service is dependent on whether your account with your carrier includes it. Contact your carrier.
