    I recently bought the thunderbolt.

I have downloaded the speedtest app and I am consistently getting slower speeds over my home wifi network then my macbook pro sitting right next to it.

My macbook pro average download speeds over 20 Mbps and my T-bolt is struggling to get 3Mbps.

I have a aiport extreme router and I am not sure if this is the issue. My 3G network with Verizon is sometimes faster then my home wifi which should not be happening.

DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS TO FIX THIS, please????

I love the phone and can't believe this would be an issue.

    Matt

I wonder if there might be a problem when it runs on the Router's N network rather than the G network?

    Just a thought

For some reason I'm not able to access my router's N network. Is there something I need to do? I'm only seeing the G. I have the same speed issue and I think it's b/c of that.

I'm not experiencing this issue. No problem with router N at home or G at work. Both faster then 3g.

You might try the advanced setting under wireless network on you bolt. Switch it to best and see if that makes a difference.

For the record, mine is not set to best.

I have a router on the N network with WPA encryption. I can download at the full 10mbps.

The app doesn't work right on T-bolt. Delete the app and run the test right off of Speedtest.net.
