I stumped everyone with my App2SD question, I hope I don't do so again with this one.

I bought a wifi Kindle which will not accept peer-to-peer or enterprise connections. I tried to use my DX as a wifi hotspot using Barnacle and Wireless Tether For Root but unfortunately they seem to only be peer-to-peer and not the "access point" I need. Is there an app which will turn my phone into an access point wifi hotspot?

I'm not well versed on wifi so I don't understand if there is some hardware limitation to doing this or not.

Has anyone figured this out? Old threat, but I've had no luck at all getting my kindle to connect through android.

The native 3G hotspot app also supports infrastructure mode.
