Hey, so Im hoping someone can help me.
I'v recently downgraded from a desire to a wildfire (due to t-mobiles incompetence).
The wildfire is an unlocked virgin phone and my sim is t-mobile.
I have unlimited internet and whilst I had my desire I used the wifi hotspot to connect my computer to the internet without any problems.
I recently received froyo on my wildfire and attempted to connect my ipad to the internet. I received a 'unable to connect to the internet' message. Iv since tried to connect to the home computer with the same results!
Iv tried different settings and nothing changes.
Im sorry if its all abut jumbled just wanted to get it down here.
Hope someone can help, thank you.

Hey there, i think i understand your frustrations. You need a custom ROM which can be installed after rooting your device which will allow the wildfire to be used as a hotspot :)

If your Wldfire has Froyo, you don't need root access, you can just use the Wi-Fi Hotspot app.
