    I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 - GT-I9100 with android 2.3.3

In my company the Wifi connection is protected with 802.1x EAP Security using the Method PEAP a secundary authentication with MSCHAPv2 and a proprietary CA Certificate.

When I connect to this network with this exact configuration and my personal active directory account it works fine.

But next I have removed the CA certificate (also unistalled it from the phone) and the secundary athentication MSCHAPv2 and it still connects with the network.

Does the system somehow keep the configurations? or does it find a work around detecting the the configurations necessary?

    Thank you
