    Hi,

3 days ago I bought HTC Desire HD and since then in order for me to know if there is a WIFI available I have to go to settings -wireless and network because it does not appear on the status bar, despite the WIFI notification is ticked (active).

I had HTC hero before and I never had that problem.

    Can somebody help?

    Thanks in advance,

    Leo

    Hi ram.s,

    Thanks for your reply.

Once I'm conected the icon appears on the notification bar (status bar -right side). The issues is that that the mobile does not tell me if there is any WIFI available (status bar -left side).

    Regards,
