    Thats not true,i have a "N" router and my desire connects to it ok,as far as i know all "N" routers also broadcast the "B" and "G" frequencies so connecting to them should not be a problem.

    Can't speak for the Desire but there are Android devices that have problems connecting to an N router running in mixed mode.
