I have turned off show WiFi pop up under setting<wifi<more. But unless I turn WiFi off, it keeps asking. I loose snap message because as I try to read, a whole screen pops up asking to sign in to WiFi. Please help!!

My guess is that whatever network is popping up you set it to auto-connect when available. Got to menu>settings>wifi and find the network that keeps popping up and long press that one and choose 'forget network'. Then go to menu>settings>wifi>menu>advanced and make sure notify for available networks is turned off.

It's any new network. Networks I have never connected to. All notifications are off under the advanced WiFi settings.

It's not a Sprint version is it, Connections Optimizer? Which apparently tries to connect to any open WiFi networks it can find.

It's a Verizon phone. But maybe. How would I check or disable it.
