Help Wifi Problems with Samsung Galaxy Player 4.2

Hi, so I recently purchased a Galaxy Player 4.2 and it keeps on disconnecting and reconnecting every few minutes at my school's wifi. However, it works perfectly fine at home. Before, when using my iPod, this never happened. Does anyone have a solution?

It has Gingerbread 2.3.6 btw.
