Help Wifi problems

Whenever I disconnect from wifi via the notification panel, my phone reconnects after a minute or so on its own. After the second time I disconnect it doesn't do this, but I was wondering if anyone else is having this problem and if there's some measures I can take to prevent this.

I use smart wifi toggler. But are you disconnecting or turning wifi off..... two different things.

but is always allow scanning enabled?

I am supposedly turning wifi off but it will just turn itself back on. Smart wifi toggle does sound helpful though.

Mine is working fine, when I click the icon on the pull down it's off and stays off. Mary
