On my other androids, there was always when option that says "Notify me of available WiFi connections" and I would always uncheck this option. On the Rezound, I only see an option that says "When launching Apps, notify me when Wifi is available." I have this setting unchecked, but still get the "Wifi Networks Available" message. I always leave my Wifi turned on. Anyone else notice this setting is different then previous ones?

I work in a Tech related field. Have been in a tec

there should be another box you can check in the wifi settings that will stop it from telling you when networks are available. I thought i remembered seeing it when i had the RZ. I know the Gnex has it because i just went to it. I think that is a pretty standard android feature across the board.

    (traitor, lol)

I can't seem to find that setting anywhere either..... weird.

I will say though that if you are gonna leave wi-fi on that having it notify you when there are open networks doesn't hurt battery life in long run (no more than leaving wi-fi on 24/7)

Yeah, there is no setting on this phone for that. :-( Anyways, I do leave Wi-Fi on the whole time. That's my preference.

I feel ya, just pointing out that while annoying, it telling you wi-fi is available doesn't do any harm. Could always use an app like tasker to turn wifi on and off at predetermined locations though....

But yea, if i could make it stop I would
