Root Wifi Tethering doesn't work properly

Hey everyone,

I've been using the Liquid Mecha 3.2 with the imoseyon lean kernel on my Thunderbolt.

After configuring the wireless tether app (that comes with the ROM), I try to use it but it doesn't work.
The thunderbolt will distribute IP addresses and the computer receives them but there doesn't seem to be any exchange of data. Is this a problem that other people are experiencing?

For example, today I got an IP address on my laptop. Shortly after, I open Firefox and google.com loads without a problem but then I try to go anywhere else and it doesn't work. Even reloading google doesn't work.

Did you try downloading the one from the market and using that version?

I downloaded the Open Garden Tether and that did not work either.

Hmm.. I was not aware Verizon completely blocked tethering.
