Help Wifi worked fine- all of a sudden WILL NOT CONNECT...

Ok.. So I had a NEW phone that the stupid phone comp. forced me to block by not giving me the correct code for unlock (which I paid the phone company for), and they said sorry and after 5 mths with a new phone in a box (while in another country and not being able to use it), they decided to exchange the phone.

They exchanged the phone and wouldnt give me a new one since the original problem wasn't reported before 7 days after purchase, but 9 days pff...

The exchange is refurbished or something but is perfectly new looking and works amazingly well...

...PROBLEM...
It connected to like 2-3 networks while I was away in that country getting the phone changed, and now I'm back home and it will not connect to my home connection... I have changed every thing around and back and I have verified all settings, wifi on and off... hard reset- EVERYTHING... it will not connect... it says searching and then connection and then disconnected etc.. doesnt even say obtaining IP addy or anything... It doesnt say anything or give errors at all, it just will not connect...

PLEASE HELP ME OUT...

rite now I'm re-installing the software w/PC Companion ... just making sure it's all right... if it doesnt work I guess I will have to try those 'fix my wifi' apps ppl say work so well??? not sure wtd...

Hello Barney and thx for your reply. I think it is the phone because my other phone (same model etc) worked fine 2 days before on the same modem w/no changes to the settings of the modem @ all... I have tried to connect my blackberry to it but I couldnt because the blackberry has a pin thing that never works so anyhow. I have now RE-INSTALLED the software and it STILL will not connect so I am now going away from home to try out another wifi... I hope I can get it connected because now I am in desperate need to sync it and get all my contacts back and now I'm going to have to re-ID all of my photos basically, get back all my apps and etc... IF IT EVER CONNECTS TO THE NET AGAIN
