hi there .. just got my phone .. got it setup to wifi no probs.. BUT i dont run my network with ssid active so the phone won't connect ..
anyone know of a way of this happening or is it a case of ssid active all the time ?

Just curious, why do you run your network with SSID inactive? It doesn't make your wifi any more secure just so you know. Hidden SSID is easier to crack that WEP encryption, and WEP is EASY to crack.
hi there ... running WPA2-PSK [AES] with limited i.p addys aswell to only allow the number connected we have ..
wep is a complete joke if your keen enough to play .. and yeah is easy to find any hidden network
but...
after much google action hidden ssid was downloaded and run ... and hey presto now working wifi.
